Returns
We certainly understand the dismay when you excitedly buy a new treasure for yourself or a loved one only to find that great minds think alike and you now have two copies.
To ensure the joy of each person getting a beautiful, brand-spanking new book, CD, or tape, from Books on First, we can accept returns only for items in perfect resellable condition. For example, no smudges, foreign matter or writing on the book, no creases on the pages, cover or spine, and no opened shrink-wrap/packaging. Returns must be accompanied by a receipt within 2 weeks of purchase and credit will be issued for merchandise (and sales tax) only.
We cannot accept returns of magazines, newspapers, cards or food-related items.
We encourage any returns due to defects (e.g. missing pages or parts), so that we can notify the original publisher/manufacturer.
